It's finally time! I have been putting it off, but it has reached the point where I need to buy new shoes. It may sound weird to you, but I despise shopping for shoes. Don't get me wrong, I love the experience of having new shoes. I love how they make me feel pretty and sometimes even exciting. What I hate is the process of finding ones that are "just right." I tend to be a bit picky when it comes to shoes. Size, color, shape, fit, feel; they all have to be absolutely perfect.

I can't tell you how many times I have gotten four out of five, but still can't pull the trigger. When I finally get the energy to go shoe shopping, it is not a short endeavor. It will usually take me days or weeks and I will try on literally hundreds of shoes. Sometimes I even make it to the register before second-guessing myself and putting them back. I am both a salesperson's and my own worst nightmares.

I guess it's time though. I have time to shop this upcoming weekend so I figure I will start the process then. Give me a couple more weeks and we'll see if I have succeeded yet.
