Making the Move to Spain

Year round sunshine, high temperatures, a superb range of lifestyle choices as well as great food and drink… why would you not want to move to Spain?

Although the economy has taken a big hit over recent years, if you still have a steady income then there is no reason why you shouldnt take advantage of Spains long list of attractions. Moving to Spain is the choice of many ex pats who are drawn here due to the climate, beaches and the fact that English is widely spoken. UK ex pats can be found almost everywhere but there are three main areas which seems to attract the majority. Andalucia in the south is a beautiful mixing pot of all things. Mountain retreats, the Balearic island of Majorca and the English style resorts such as Torrimolinos.

Spain has also attracted its fair share of the rich and famous with Michael Douglas, Ernest Hemingway, Picasso and Michael Schumacher all having owned or own a villa here. With easy access from a range of budget airlines, Spain is now a very attractive proposition for those looking to seek a better life in the sun. With house prices for sale at 1990s prices, it is easy to see the appeal of this wonderful country.
