Izmir is yet another historical city to include in your Turkey travel experience. But, it is not just any historical city. The cities of the seven churches of Apocalypse, are all but one, located in the boundary of Izmir. Ancient cities of Ephesus and Pergamum are must visit destinations if you want to be enchanted by the ancient. Izmir is also known as the ‘beautiful Izmir’ in Turkish dialect.
